Organic Thick Rolled Oats
Thick Rolled Oats are made from kilned, whole oat groats processed by steaming and flaking. They provide a textural difference (a more solid “bite” than regular rolled oats) while still maintaining the high nutritional value common in all oat products.
Oats have more protein and healthy fats, and less carbohydrates than most other whole grains. This grain is high in beta-glucans, and contains more soluble fiber than any other grain.
Aside from making a hearty cooked breakfast cereal, thick rolled oats are frequently used in breads, energy bars and granola.
