Experience Living and Serving at Ananda Farm
In 2018 we are offering a Karma Yoga Apprenticeship Program. There are 2 ways to participate; full-season or shorter stay. The full program runs from mid April – mid October, shorter stays range from 2 weeks – 2 months based on availability. We ave 2 spots available for full-time Karma Yogis.
This program offers hands on experience in all aspects of our working farm.
- Annual and Perennial gardening – Vegetables from seed to harvest, Fruit, Berries, Herbs
- Animal husbandry – Goats, Chickens, Alpacas, Cats, and Dogs
- Value Added Products – Herbal Medicine and Food Preservation
- Community Building though Farmer’s Markets, Farm Events and Suppers, and Workshops
- Yoga, Meditation, and Philosophy

We have camping space as well as 2 tent-cabin bungalows (offered first to the full-season apprentices). Outdoor Kitchen, outdoor shower, and outhouse are provided. The 2 houses are a combination of community and personal space for full-time residents.
$300 monthly fee covers living space and basic food staples (goat milk/cheese, farm grown fruit & veggies, grain, beans, etc).
Full-season Karma Yoga Apprentices have the opportunity to ‘break even’ on the program cost. After a positive 3-month review you will receive $300/month for the remainder of the program.
